Trailer: The Ultimate Ultimate

Finding good, independently made comedy on the internet is bloody hard sometimes. Usually you have to wade through the endless videos of barely audible 14 years olds recreating awful Little Britain sketches just to finds something faintly watchable. Thankfully we didn’t have to go searching for The Ultimate Ultimate trailer as it was sent to us by Joe from A Set of Works. So as is normal procedure when watching a something sent into Down with Film, we adopted the brace position and buckled ourselves in for the ride. Well you’ll never guess what, it’s a pretty darn funny trailer.

The Ultimate Ultimate is a little rough round the edges, but it looks like it’s got it where it counts. The trailer evokes the snappy dialogue of Clerks and the style and humour of the criminally under-rated Trailer Park Boys, so get involved it’s definitely worth it. Plus they have the single best tag line ever; It’s Scumbag Humour. Genius.

Movie Synopsis

After getting dumped by the girlfriend he never deserved,d delusional piker Joe (Joe Benarick) and his estranged buddy Frank (Frank Aguirre) decide to take a trip to then eighboring town of Deer Beach—named for its annual deer orgy along the shore, according to Frank. But despite Frank’s best efforts to heal Joe’s broken heart in this execrable town inundated with surly front desk girls, slovenly maintenance men, and more than unbearable downtime, Joe can’t shake the thought of his ex. She was smokin’ hot, and it was so cute the way she’d get mad and stab him and all. Women are such a trip!
